Dale Smashes WSW 24hr Record

In his fourth attempt to beat the long-standing WSW club 24 hourrecord, DALE STURMAN put in an awesome ride this weekend. Despitebattling against windy conditions and 6 hours of rain, Dale completed441 miles, beating the old record by 20 miles. He finished in eightplace overall in this annual national event.

This ride represents an average speed of 18.4 mph !

We reckon this is a quick pace for the club run, but Dale did it for 24 hours!

He says that enough is enough and that he will now take a rest. He is having a week’s holiday from work.

With his wife Katrina and Ben and Sam they are now driving back from Merseyside.
