A Day To Remember "Luke Southgate

On Sunday 12th June the “Luke Southgate” “Memorial Ride” will be incorporated in the Annual Bury Wheel where family and friends of Luke will ride in his memory. After the ride a social function will be held at Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club.   This function forms part of a “DAY TO REMEMBER SAC LUKE SOUTHGATE” from Bury St Edmunds who tragically lost his life in Afghanistan in 2010.

The function will start at 12 midday and finish at 8 pm. Entry is FREE, Riders will be provided with FREE PARKING prior to the ride. There will be live music provided by a band and solo singer, beer, barbarcue, a bouncy castle and face painting for children. It  is being hosted by The Royal British Legion where at 4 pm the Deputy Mayor of Bury St Edmunds will toast 90 years of the Royal British Legion! ALL club members are welcome and encouraged to wear club colours in support of this local event.
