November Roads and Tracks Ride

Choice of routes at 20 or 35 miles, comprising roads, tracks and bridleways and including optional skill and fitness challenges on route. Suitable for mountain bikes, cross bikes and sturdy road bikes. Route fully signed and marshalled. Maps will also be issued.

A non-competitive event where riders of all abilities can chose their own pace.

Refreshments available at start and finish.

All riders to wear helmets and those under 16 need to ride with a nominated adult.

Entry fees: Adults £10 (£12 on the day); under 16 £6 (£8 on the day); includes goody bag and tea/cake voucher.

WSW Culford Heath Rough Ride

Choice of 15 or 30 mile routes on forest and ancient heath-land tracks, linked by country roads.

Non-competitive – make your own pace, but with an optional timed section.

The results are online now for this new event for 2008, promoted by the West Suffolk Wheelers, as part of British Cycling’s Everyday Cycling programme.

It was a non-competitive event, ridden at the rider's own pace and with a choice of routes and distances, starting and finishing at the West Stow Country Park.Check out the photo gallery for images from the event.

This is a new event, being promoted by the West Suffolk Wheelers, as part of British Cycling’s Everyday Cycling programme. Download an entry form here.

It is a non-competitive event, to be ridden at your own pace and with a choice of routes and distances. They all start and finish at the West Stow Country Park , Icklingham Road, West Stow, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP28 6HG home of the reconstructed Anglo-Saxon Village and complete with an excellent visitor centre, café and toilet facilities.

(Five miles north of Bury St Edmunds, just off the A1101).
