The Lotus Cycle Race League starts this summer’s programme on Wednesday May 5^th.

This is an excellent way to commence real cycle racing and to compete on a regular basis, with sections for youngsters (under 16), regular racers including Juniors and newcomers to the sport.

The events take place every Wednesday at The Lotus Cars Test Track, Hethel, Nr Wymondham, Norfolk from May 5^th to July 28 inclusive. 

The full programme of events includes Training sessions and Races for Youngsters (Go Ride), Novice Races for newcomers (Go Race) and Scratch and Handicap racers for experienced riders.

There area number of West Suffolk Wheelers who have regularly raced here, and I expect there will be more in 2010.

It is undoubtedly the best way to start road racing, with events to suit all abilities, traffic free, and well organised.
