Sturman Continues On Winning Ways - Takes 1st Evening Time Trial of the Year
After winning the opening two Diss Cycle Club time trials, Dale Sturman continued his excellent early season form with another win in the West Suffolk Wheelers first evening time trial of the year on 12th April.Â
On a cool night with light winds Dale powered around the 5.5 mile flat course through Great Livermere in a time of 12 mins 29 secs. Second, riding the course for the first time was the fast improving Paul Rooke with a time of 12 mins 42 secs and third riding for Tri-UK was Ben Mickleburgh with 12 mins 52secs. Despite conditions not favouring fast times, six of the eighteen riders clocked personal bests (PB), most notably Matt Woodson who smashed his previous best effort by 1 min 26 secs.Â
