7 members of the West Suffolk Wheelers & Triathlon club made the trip to Thetford to race in the 3^rd event of the Thetford Winter Series MTB race held on the 26^th January. All riders faced the same atrocious conditions under wheel, the wet and very muddy surface compounded by driving rain.

Top Wheeler in the 2 hour junior race Ross McKenzie finished a credible 10^th having completed 3 laps in 2 hours 28 minutes.

Paul Watson in his favoured discipline of mountain biking finished a commendable 17^th in the 2 hour Veteran Male race, completing 3 full laps in 1 hour 58 minutes. He was followed by Matt Eaglen who completed 3 laps in 2 hours 15 minutes for 54^th, and Ray Reeves who completed 2 full laps in 1 hour 35 minutes for 92^nd.

Father and son Dick and Robin Lines competed in the Fun Males race, Robin completing 2 laps in 1 hour 36 to finish 16th to beat his father Dick who finished 22^nd having completed 2 laps in 1 hour 42.

Malcolm Borg retired with mechanical issues in the 4 hour race.
