West Suffolk Wheeler & Triathlon Club member Ron Back produced a superb ride to finish 1^st in his age group standard at the Veteran Time Trial Association’s 25 mile time trial held on Saturday.

Beginning at the Stecthworth roundabout  on Saturday, the 2 lap circuit took riders south of Newmarket, the second lap of which was into the south easterly breeze and finished with a long incline uphill from 6 Mile Bottom to the finish.

Ron recorded an impressive 1:07:54, whilst club mate David Howse in his 1^st time trial over this distance finished in 1:10:47.

Henry Wood and Gerry Barton also rode in their first 2 up time trial over this distance, and will be pleased with their joint time of 1:19:37.
