GOOD FRIDAY at HERNE HILL

Welwyn Track

Last year we formed a party to go down to watch the Annual Herne Hill Track
Meeting. It was BRILLIANT, especially when our own Ross Edgar beat an
illustrious international field to win the Sprint, and the highly covetted
News of the World Trophy. It was also great to see Chris Newton on amazing
form that later in the season saw him take World Honours.

This coming April 18 sees the 100th running of this event, and an even more
exciting programme is planned. It is hoped that
David Millar will make his track debut in the 6 station pursuit, not to
mention countless other international stars, hopefully including Ross,
defending his title.

I am intending to organise a mini-bus again this year (or even a maxi-bus if
demand dictates!).

Who wants to see history in the making? Not sure of the price yet, but it
will be around £20 per head.
