Gosfield Lakes was the venue for the Gosfield Standard Distance triathlon on Sunday

Matt Shingleton was highest placed Wheeler in a combined time of 2:09:57 for 2^nd in the Male 40+ category and 3^rd overall.

Just behind Matt was Keith Marra in 2:11:38 for 5^th overall and 3^rd in the Male Senior category. Hannah McInroy Naylor’s time of 2:31:38 earned her 38^th position overall and 2^nd in her Female Senior category.

Not to be outdone, Charlie Knowler took part in the Upminster Junior Triathlon Tri Star 1 race (9-10years) on Saturday. A fine performance was rewarded with 2^nd place.

On Sunday Charlie was back in action at the Eastern Region Aquathon held on open water at Fritton Lake, where he again performed well for 3^rd overall in Tri Star 1.
