89 runners took part in the 3rd Bury Parkrun (13-07-13), including four competitors from WSW & Tri.

With the sun shining and the temperature already very warm by the 9am start, the runners lined up for two laps of the Nowton Park course. Finishing in 16th place, Ian Pettitt was the fastest WSW & Tri runner (22:16), only two places ahead of Julian Coleman (22:37) a new event PB. Ester Coleman finished 1st women (23:05) and Malcolm MacFarlane, taking part in his first Parkrun, finished in 24:38.

The full results were available the same day on the website. For anyone who is interested in taking part, the events are free and there is no need to enter in advance, just turn up and run. However, you must register on the website before the event to get your barcode, which is scanned when finishing the event to match your time to you.
