Radical Bikes, a purpose built off road cycling venue at Blackmore near Chelmsford, was the venue for round 5 of the Mud Sweat & Gears mountain bike series on Sunday.

West Suffolk Wheelers & Triathlon Club was again well represented with Robin Lines finishing a fine 9^th in the youth category (4 laps, 1:21:18). Top placed rider was Jamie Wightman 5^th in the Master Male race (7 laps, 1:53:37).

Malcolm Borg persevered to 26^th in the Sport Male race (3 laps, 00:57:33), with Rhys Holland-Jones 13^th in Juvenile Male (3 laps, 1:04:33) and in the Open Male race Garth Collier finished in 21^st (4 laps, 1:15:20).

Sam Asker (Juvenile Male) crashed heavily and had to retire.
