Maglia Rosso

Maglia Rosso is the Cycle Shop and Destination Café opened by active West Suffolk members Barry and Matt Denny in April 2014 at the former Metcalfe Arms at Hawstead, just south of BSE (IP29 5NR).

They offer a great range of bikes of all sorts, clothing, spares and accessories and offer discount to members ~ normally 10% off RRP.

They also offer expert bike servicing and repairs and the best tea, coffee and cakes in the area, not to mention a full café menu for elevenses and lunches ~ even for non-cyclists! They even serve wines and beers!

Uniquely they have a purpose-built CycloCross course on-site, comprising one mile of tight, twisty track with all the elements you are likely to encounter in this discipline. It is suitable for CycloCross and Mountain bikes and for riders of all ages and is free to use during shop opening hours ~ just sign on in the shop (Under 18’s need parental consent).

Opening hours 9-5.30 seven days a week and Bank Holidays. Special events are also regularly arranged.

The Cycle Clinic

The Cycle Clinic offers for WSW and tri members a total of 10% off the customers price. 8% of that goes to you the member and a further 2% to the club. This applies to all items labour and bikes.

An example of how this works is a Continental wire bead GatorSkin tyre priced here at £22 currently. A WSW and tri member would pay £20.24 and a further £0.44 would be donated to the club.
