12 members of West Suffolk Wheelers & Triathlon Club took part in the East & South East Regional Cyclo Cross Championships, held at a cold and windy Trinity Park Ipswich on the 8^th December.

On a largely fast and flat course surrounding a more technical middle section which better suited the quicker riders, the stand out performance of the afternoon for the club was Paul Watson racing in the male vets 50-59 age category who finished impressively for 8^th

Determined riding in the same race saw Barry Denny home in 28^th and Darren Baker in 30^th.

The Youth race saw Sam Asker home in 12^th, and more fine riding saw Tom Macro 6^th in the U12 and Charlie Knowler 10^th (U10).

6 members contested the Male vets 40--49 category, Mike Bowen finishing in 24^th and aggressive racing from club mates Matt Denny and Ian Mortlock saw Matt edge out Ian by 1 second in a sprint finish to cross the line in 58^th and Ian in 59^th.

Completing the group were Adi Grimwood (61^st), James Asker (64^th) and David Griggs (68^th).
