21 members of West Suffolk Wheelers & Triathlon Club competed in the latest round of the Eastern Cyclo Cross League held at Redgrave near Diss on 23^rd November. A timed age category race ridden over successive loops of a heavy going and challenging course suited the more powerful and stronger riders. The event began with the Under 10s, and yet another superb ride from Charlie Knowler who again finished 1^st. Fine finishing saw club mates Victoria Asker home in 10^th, Harley Gregory (16^th) and Grace Whitwell (21^st).

Next to go were the Under 12 group, led home by Thomas Macrow (13^th), followed by Matthew Whitwell (24^th) and Lianna Denny (26^th).

The youth category saw a terrific ride from Sam Asker (9^th), followed by brother Matt (22^nd) and Fraser Elsworth (31^st).

The combined women and 45/50 men age group contained the biggest club contingent. Another superb ride from Mike Bowen saw him home in 4^th with Paul Watson riding powerfully for 19^th. Strong riding saw a close group finish between Malcolm McFarlane (38), Simon Elsworth (39), Ian Mortlock (46^th) and Adi Grimwood (51^st). Dave Griggs made up several places to finish 63rd, whilst Lesley Linden in only her 2^nd such race finished in a determined 70^th.

Last to go were the seniors, and at an hour long a truly testing race over a surface that had deteriorated severely. Hard riding saw Richard Stiff home in 48^th, John Brooks (52^nd) and James Asker (54^th).
