West Suffolk Crossers now out in force!

Very pleased to report that we are now being well represented in the Eastern Cross League, which this week saw the fourth meeting of the series taking place at Baldock, organised by Ashwell CC.

We had four riders in the Vets (45+) with Richard Muchmore coming home third and Mike Bowen in eighth, enough for him to move into the lead in the championship. Making their debuts in the league were Darren Baker in 46^th and Simon Elsworth close behind in 49^th.

Richard Stiff was our sole rider in the very competitive Senior race finishing 57^th, but we had four riders in the Under 12 race. Fraser Elsworth and Sam Asker were closely matched finishing 8^th and 9^th, with Oliver Griggs 22^nd (5^th U10) and Max Bidewell 28^th - good riding and with more racing experience all are well capable of becoming very accomplished riders.

The League carries on through October with meetings at Welwyn (6^th), Colchester (14^th), Davy Down Essex (21^st) and Mistley (28^th).
