Interclub Hill Climb 2012

Fourteen riders took part in the Haverhill, Cycle Club Sudbury and WSW&TRI interclub hill climb on Sunday. 13 were from WSW & Tri and 1 from CCS.

 

In 3rd place was Julian Long with a 3-38-97, 2nd was Lee Sturman with a 3-17-76 and winning the event and getting the hill climb trophy was Richard Farrow with a 3-11-16.

Update - Triathlon Results‏

West Suffolk Wheelers and Triathlon Club would like to thank all those that participated in our first ever Triathlon. We had a range of competitors from first timers to those who participated in numerous events. The results are posted below and we thank you for your support, we would also like to thank both members and friends for their help to make today a memorable event and we hope to see you all next year!

Unless we have any further comments over the next few days we can declare these results final.

Livermere 23/8/12

36 People took part in the last club evening time trial of the season at Livermere. In 3rd place was Julian Long with a 12.57, 2nd was Alan Trolove with a 12.55 and winning the event was Dale Sturman with a 12.18.

Hawstead Hill Climb 16/8/12

Nineteen riders took part in the Hill Climb at Pinford End near Hawstead. Each rider had two goes and were given a combined time at the end. In 3rd place was Chris Harley with a 2-48-73, 2nd was Tom Smith with a 2-18-95 and winning the event was Lee Sturman with a 2-17-38

West Stow 10mile tt 9/8/12

With weather last week saw lots of flying ants over at West Stow, 31 riders took part in the time trial. In 3rd place was Paul Jay from velovelocity.co.uk with a 23.52, 2nd was Ben Mickleburgh from velovelocity.co.uk with a 23.30 and winning the event with a new course record with a time of 21.41 was Jason Boutel from velovelocity.co.uk. The fastest WSW & Tri member was Alan Trolove in 4th with a 24.17.

  • The West Suffolk Wheelers cycling club was formed in 1922 and is based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. We have a good cross-section of cycling on offer to welcome new and experienced cyclists alike.
