West Stow H/C 26/7/12

This week saw 39 riders take part in the West Stow 10 mile time trial which incoporated a handicap result aswell. In 3rd place was Alan Trolove with a 23.38, 2nd was Ben Mickleburgh from velovelocity.co.uk with a 23.18 and winning the event was Dale Sturman with a 23.12.

 

 

In the handicap results in third place was Matt Soame with a 19.05, 2nd was Henry Wood with a 18.54 and winning the event was Lewis Elson with a 18.48.

Horringer 10 tt 19/7/12

25 riders took part on a wet thursday evening time trial on the Horringer 10mile course. In 3rd place was Joint with Julian Long and Richard Farrow with a 25.47, 2nd was Alan Trolove with a 25.16 and winning the event was Dale Sturman with a 24.37.

West Stow Medium Gear 15/4/12

Eight riders took part in the medium gear event which uses 72". In 3rd place was Ian Evans with a 27.38, 2nd was Richard Carrington from Mildenhall CC with a 27.17 and winning the event was Richard Farrow with a 26.03

Lt Welnetham 12/7/12

31 riders took part in the Lt Welnetham and luckily the rain kept away till the end. In 3rd place was Dale Sturman with a 22.08, 2nd was Junior rider Alan Trolove with a 21.51 and winning the event was Kieran Brady from City Cycle Centre with a 20.46.

West Stow 2up 5/7/12

Last week with a prediction of rain but luckily we got away with it, there was the West Stow 10mile 2up time trial where riders decided who they wanted to ride with. There were 19 teams.

In third place was Alan Trolove with a time of 24.25, in 2nd place were brothers Lee and Dale Sturman in a time of 23.16 and winning the event was Richard Farrow from WSW & Tri and Ben Mickleburgh from Velovelocity.co.uk in a time of 22.47.

  • The West Suffolk Wheelers cycling club was formed in 1922 and is based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. We have a good cross-section of cycling on offer to welcome new and experienced cyclists alike.
