Horringer 17.5 and 10 mile 28/6/12

Last week with the hot weather, there were two time trial courses to choose a 17.5 and a 10mile time trial course at horringer.

12 riders took part in the 17.5 mile course. In 3rd place was Julian Long with a 44.47, 2nd was David Giffin with a 44.33 and in 1st was Ben Mickleburgh from velovelocity.co.uk with a 42.30.

16 riders took part in the 10mile time trail. In 3rd place was Thomas Smith with a 26.48, 2nd was Richard Farrow with a 25.18 and in 1st was Dale Sturman with a 24.18.

Risby 21 Handicap 17/6/12

Sturman Make It A Hatrick

11 riders took part in the sunday morning risby 21mile handicap time trial. With tail wind from risby to flempton and headwind from Lackford to Cavenham. In 3rd was Will Newland with a 1:00.32, 2nd was Ian Evans with a 1:00.28 and in 1st was Dale Sturman with a 53.44.

In the handicap event in 3rd was Henry Wood with a 52.17, in 2nd was Ian Evans with a 52.13 and in 1st was Michael Lawson with a 51.26 who wins the handicap shield.

West Stow 14/6/12

Sturman Gets Two Wins In A Row
37 riders took part in the West Stow Time trial this last week. A tough head win into Fornham all saints and tail win back to West Stow, luckily there was no rain. In 3rd place was Paul Rooke with a 25.03, 2nd was Junior rider Alan Trolove with a 24.40 and winning the event was Dale Sturman with a 24.10

Higham 10mile tt 31/5/12

Numbers slightly down this week, but still 22 riders took part in the hilly course which was a 10 mile course at higham and this time it was not called off due to flooding.  In third place was David Giffin with a 25.49, 2nd was Lee Sturman with a 24.53 and in 1st was Lee's brother Dale with a 24.34.
