Balls takes it from Farrow

On a cold and wet evening Peter Balls won by the narrowest of margins from Richard Farrow in the West Suffolk Wheelers latest time trial event on 10th May, using the Higham circuit.

Horringer 10 Results (3rd May)

Balls Out!!

Peter Balls took his first West Suffolk Wheeler evening time trial victory of the year with a personal best (for the course) of 23mins 55secs on the ten mile Horringer circuit.

West Stow TT Results (27th April)

Hatrick For Sturman!

Dale Sturman made it a hatrick of wins in the latest West Suffolk Wheelers evening time trial on 27th April winning on the 10 mile West Stow circuit, covering the course in 23mins 43 secs.

Gt. Whelnetham TT - 19-4-07

Dale Sturman made it two out of two when he won the second West Suffolk Wheelers evening time trial on 19th April with ease, beating second place man David Giffin by 52 seconds and also clocking a personal (PB) best time, with the improving Matt Woodson finishing third.

Gt Livermere TT - 12th April

Sturman Continues On Winning Ways  - Takes 1st Evening Time Trial of the Year

After winning the opening two Diss Cycle Club time trials, Dale Sturman continued his excellent early season form with another win in the West Suffolk Wheelers first evening time trial of the year on 12th April.

About the West Suffolk Wheelers
  • The West Suffolk Wheelers cycling club was formed in 1922 and is based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. We have a good cross-section of cycling on offer to welcome new and experienced cyclists alike. If you wish to learn bike handling skills for on and/or off-road cycling our members have the knowledge and experience to teach you. The Club is proud of it's development work with young people, and we have coaches to guide new cyclists in their training. We are active in all areas of cycling including: Road Racing, Time Trials, Track Racing, Club Runs,Touring, Audax, Sportive, Mountain Biking and Cyclo-cross. Members also compete in triathlon competitions; the Club is recently affiliated to Triathlon England, and new triathlete members are welcomed
