Higham 10mile TT 1st August 2013

33 riders negotiated then tough Higham 10 mile time trial course in the latest Thursday evening event. Despite breezy conditions, many riders clocked course bests thanks mainly to the tailwind finishing section between Barrow and Higham.

He finished in 25.07. Making up the top 6 was 14 year old Harry Paine from the Essex based Glendene CC, who finished in 25.26 to claim 5th. Darren Davis with a course best was 6th in 25.56. Notable performances from Lewis Elson who improved his best time over the hilly course by 2.03, Matt Denny improved by 1.23 and newly crowned British hand cycling champion Brian Alldis improved by 33 seconds.
