Another fine race from West Suffolk Wheeler & Triathlon Club member Charlie Knowler at the Grafham Water circuit in Cambridgeshire on the 30^th November saw him race powerfully to 3^rd in the Under 10 category, leading home clubmates Harley Gregory (13^th) and Victoria Asker (19^th). In the overall rankings, Charlie sits a very commendable 6^th with 3 races left in the series.

The circuit along Grafham Water is a technical and deceptively challenging course which saw the seniors and women & veteran men race along the sandy lake foreshore, before taking in some tight switchbacks and testing cambers and difficult woodland tracks.

The club’s women’s and veteran men’s contingent was led home by Mike Bowen with another strong race for 4^th, followed by the ever improving Simon Elsworth (39^th) with Ian Mortlock (45^th), Adi Grimwood (46^th), Barry Denny (50^th), Darren Baker (62^nd) and David Griggs (68^th). Brave riding saw Lesley Linden (75^th) and Nicole Gregory (76^th). Richard Muchmore, racing for Revel Outdoors of Bury St. Edmunds, finished very well for 2^nd in this race.

In the youth race, Sam Asker continued his rich run of form for 15^th (still 2 years left in this category) with brother Matt finishing 34^th. Sam will be pleased with his current standing of 7^th in his age ranking. Both Max Bidewell & Fraser Elsworth withdrew with mechanical issues.

In the U12 race, Thomas Macro (21^st) and Lianna Denny (34^th) acquitted themselves well. Finally the hour long senior race saw Matt Denny finish 65^th with James Asker 69^th.
