The penultimate round of the Eastern Cyclo Cross league took place at Snetterton Equestrian Centre, Norfolk, on the 29^th December. The very cold but otherwise perfect weather conditions hid a slippery and testing course around the grounds including a technical section within the indoor eventing arena itself.

Charlie Knowler continued his good form to finish 2^nd in the Under 10 category but strong riding from Harley Gregory saw him finish a convincing 1^st in his year group (U8) and 9^th overall. Club mate Victoria Asker will also be very pleased with her 15^th overall position.

Brothers Sam and Matt Asker contested the youth race, Sam finishing in 10^th and Matt in 27^th.

Riding for Revel Outdoors in the veterans race, Richard Muchmore finished 2^nd with Mike Bowen the highest placed West Suffolk Wheeler & Triathlon club member an excellent 6^th. Paul Watson raced well for 14^th, Adrian Grimwood impressed for 41^st followed by Simon Elsworth (48^th), Ian Mortlock (53^rd), Barry Denny (55^th) and David Griggs (64^th).

In the Under 12 race, Thomas Macro placed 13^th with Matthew Whitwell 23^rd and Lianna Denny 25^th.

Completing fine family performances, James Asker finished 61^st in the Senior race with Matt Denny 64^th. In the same race, Steve James (Revel Outdoors) finished well for 8^th. Richard Stiff withdrew with technical issues.

The final round takes place at King Edward VI School on the 18^th January, with the club a solid 9^th in the league placings.
