Phillips takes win on Lackford 9.8 mile circuit
Brian Phillips of the East Grinstead Cycling Club continued his return to top form with an impressive win on a make-shift 9.8 mile Lackford course at the recent West Suffolk Wheelers Evening time trial series event.
Phillips completed the course in 22mins 12secs, putting over one minute into West Suffolk’s Paul Rooke who held off third placed Dave Giffin with a time of 23mins 16secs.
