Milton Keynes Bowl Circuit Series

New Wheeler Paul Hanks finished 3rd in his first race of the year at the Milton Keynes Bowl circuit series.

80 riders started the 4th Cat race with a fast pace maintained throughout. The only respite might have come on the downhill section after the start/finish line, but this was into a severe head wind. Paul wisely tucked in for the first half of the 1 hour race to settle in and gauge what others were doing. With the finish line  at the top of a long uphill drag, Paul positioned himself within the top 6/7 riders on the last set of corners to set up for a good run to the finish line. He was very pleased with a solid 3rd place to start the season off but said "Maybe I stood up a little early for the sprint finish, but I had power all the way to the finish line".
