Super Sprint Series - Tonight CANCELLED...

Hi Everyone,

Firstly my apologies; this is very last minute but I've been called to a meeting in London this afternoon. Judging by the agenda I won't get away until 6ish and therefore won't be back in time for tonight's Super Sprint Series. As Mike is in France this means we don't have anyone to set up and time the event so regretfully I'm going to have to cancel it :(

Apologies again for this being so last minute!

Next week is a run night from the club room, as usual 2 laps of a 5km circuit. First one is an easy warm up the second, for those that want to, at you own pace. I'll be on holiday racing in France so Phil Clarke will meet you at the Club Room to lead out.

All the best and apologies again for cancelling tonight.

July's triathlon results

So far I have been made aware of 6 of our fellow members who have seen triathlon action this month. Most recently, the weekend just gone: Aidan Dunn and Lee French were racing at Gosfield standard distance, Alice Maguire and Myles Taylor were racing in the Upminster Junior event and Richard Daley completed the 'Cowman' half distance (1900/90km/21km). On the 1st July Phil Clarke was representing the club at the Norwich Standard distance. All results are attached and if you know of any others please let me know so that i can log them.

SSS - West Stow - Tonights Results

Fortunately the weather was kind to us this evening and we were blessed with glorious sunshine for tonight's West Stow Duathlon. Taking the first place honours was Phil Clarke, followed in to second place by Julian Colman, full results attached...

Thanks to everyone who turned up to take part tonight.

Just a reminder that tonight is running night! Leaving the Club Room at 18:45 for an easy pace 5km lap then, for those that wish to, a further lap 'at your own pace'. See you all there... Adi Barbrooke.

Wednesday SSS will be Duathlon at Rougham

Unfortunately the pool at Rougham has failed its water test this week so the Triathlon for Wednesday will now become a Duathlon.

Great turnout last week at Livermere course so please come along and try this one at Rougham.

Last sign on by 6:35pm, 1st person off at 6:45pm.

SSS Results - Livermere Duathlon

A very pleasant evening saw our biggest turnout this year for the Super Sprint Series. Tonights event was a Duathlon at Livermere. In first place was Phil Clarke, 2nd was Neil Hillier and 3rd Lee French. Our first lady to take part in the series was Nicole Gregory (hope that's right, had trouble reading the handwriting!) who now leads the ladies competition! See attached for full results...
