The WSW has club rides for all abilities and is a good way meeting like minded individuals. It improves your riding technique and gives you confidence in riding within a couple which can be 20% more efficient than cycling by yourself! Dawn Raid to Mersea IslandThe ride is now full.... Sorry This year the Dawn Raid is to Mersea Island and will take place on Sunday 24th June leaving from the Club HQ at 6 a.m. The ride to Mersea is 53 miles and will be at a steady pace and we aim to arrive at 9.30 for breakfast at The Art Café. If you would like to ride then please put your name down as the group will be limited to 30 people. Wheelers on tourLast Updated (Tuesday, 29 May 2012 08:08) Bury to GenevaWSW members Julian Long & Tricia Goulden will be cycling 1000km from Bury St Edmunds to the Alps, taking in Holland, Belgium, France and Switzerland en route to Geneva. From there they will ride up to the ski resort of Morzine where they will compete in the Morzine Vallée d'Aulps sportive – a distance of 160km with 4000m of climbing over five Alpine passes.
