ECCA Luncheon

I wonder if you can do me a favour? it's the Counties Luncheon on the 2nd and it would be really nice if you could arrange for the club to come along, we don't see them you socially, but we do on the road!   I can arrange a table for just your people if you have 8 or more, it's not a boring stuffy old do any more, we brought some fun to it, no dull quizzes, no rotten food, just jazz piano, views and a jolly good 3 course lunch! There are changing facilities if your members wish to ride. Please can  you circulate it around your members for me? It would be good to see them out.

Lightning Talk Evening

Monday 17th February. Starting at 7.30pm, WSW & Tri HQ

An Evening of short talks (5 minutes or less)

Following on from last year’s successful evening we will have another night of Lightning Talks. It is a series of short talks from as many people as we can get to present!

Each talk will be 5 minutes or less and will be strictly timed. You can use slides/powerpoint, but you don't need to. In fact, it may be better not to as there isn't much time. You will need to use you time wisely. The evening will be split into sections, so the audience can ask the presenters questions at the end of each section. The aim is to the keep the evening flowing as quickly as possible.

The talks can be about anything related to cycling, triathlon or anything else that will be of interest to members.

In order to make the evening a success, I need lots of people to give talks. We would like as many participants as possible so if you have an idea for a talk and would like to sign up, please contact Paul Callow paul_callow at hotmail.com.

We would also like as many people as possible to come and listen, so put the date in your diary
