It was the night of the British Cycling Awards in Birmingham last Saturday, and it terrific to report that our own HELEN BALLAM was an award recipient.
She had been nominated by the Eastern Region for her work as a volunteer in respect of all the work she has done for the West Suffolk Wheelers and Triathlon Club, as well as Go Ride work with the Sebert Wood School, close liaison with Regional Go Ride activities and her recent Coaching Qualifications.
Helen was amongst 10 such Special Volunteers from all over the UK who were honoured at this year’s event.
Very well done Helen.
