Our annual Grass Track Meeting takes place on

SATURDAY AUGUST 6th

PRIORY SCHOOL PLAYING FIELD (Shakers Lane Gate)

Practice from 11am First Race 12 noon

As usual the course will be a 300metre oval and we have a varied programme of events which include a round of the National 800metre Series. There are events for Juniors/Seniors/Vets/Ladies and Juveniles on fixed wheel bikes and for Juveniles on Freewheel bikes and entries have so far been received from all these classes, but more entries needed. (Adults £12, Juveniles £6, or £15/£8 on the day). In order to encourage entries we are running training evenings on Tuesdays July 26 and August 2, from 6.30pm at the venue, open to members and guests, with novices particularly welcome, on any bike ~ no obligation to race, just come and try it !

Spectators and volunteers welcome on Race Day and we are planning a Barbecue after the races, late afternoon/early evening.
