Tear Jerker Results

Sunday 26th May was the Elvedon Tear Jerker Triathlon which consists of a 750m reservoir swim, 25k off road bike & 5K run and is part of the Eastern League XC series.

Four members took part highest placed Pip Moore coming 24th was closely followed by Chris Wiseman 25th, Mike Weeks 47th and Darren Sharman 121st.

National 10mile tt champs

Tricia Goulden rode in the National 10mile tt championships on Saturday held at Hingham in Norfolk. Tricia did a 25.13 coming 26th out of 57in the women and winning her age category.

West Stow TT 23/5/13

WIN FOR STURMAN

29 riders took part in the West Stow 10mile time trial. Conditions were cold and the rain started just as the first rider was going off.

In 3rd place was Richard Farrow with a 24.51, 2nd was junior rider Harry Paine from Glendene CC with 24.00 and winning the event was Dale Sturman with a 23.07.

New 50m TT Women's Club Record for Trisha Goulden

Tricia Goulden recorded 2.02.58 in the ECCA 50 (18.07.13) to finish 2nd women. This time is also a new WSW & Tri women's club record.

Ron Back also rode in this event, completing the course in 2.07.11.

  • The West Suffolk Wheelers cycling club was formed in 1922 and is based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. We have a good cross-section of cycling on offer to welcome new and experienced cyclists alike.
