FIRST CLUB EVENING TT FOR 2013 GOES TO FARROW

The first Time Trial in the West Suffolk Wheelers Evening Time Trial Series took place near Livermere on the 5.5 mile circuit. 34 riders took part in the cold conditions. The weather provided an extra challenge on this circuit, as there was a headwind out to Livermere, a tailwind along the long straight and towards finish.

Finishing in 3rd place, Will Newland recorded 15.23, 2nd was Lee Sturman (with new tri bars) with a 14.03 and winning by 2 seconds was Richard Farrow in 14.01.

Round 1 of the Eastern Region Youth Circuit Series

Round 1 of the Eastern Region Youth Circuit Series took place at the Good Friday Circuit Races (Redbridge) on 29th March 2013

Open hilly 21mile time trial 16/3/13

West Suffolk Wheelers and Tri Club held the annual sporting 21 mile Time Trial on Saturday afternoon.

In 3rd place was Gavin Moore (Cycle Hire UK RT), 51-37,  Andre Dyason finished in second place (50-18) and the event was won by Daniel Bloy (Kings Lynn CC) in 49-04. Fastest Lady was Tricia Goulden from the promoting club.

45 riders entered, 8 riders from the promoting club. David Young completed the course in 1-09-29, Henry Wood in 1-09-51, Gerry Barton in 1-15-50, Tricia Goulden 1-02-12, Rob Norman 1-12-43, Paul Rooke 54-18, Richard Farrow 58-14 and David Howes 1-04-58.

Excellent Result for Lee Sturman

The first race meeting of the Elveden Race Series took place on Saturday March 9 in the most awful conditions with continual rain throughout the day. But this didn’t stop almost 300 riders enjoying racing on the 3.5 mile closed-road circuit within the Elveden Estate.
