Vickers second in Livermere TT

Paul Vickers put in an excellent performance to claim second place in the penultimate round of the Thursday evening time trial series, Paul recorded a time of 12 minutes 50 seconds to finish 25 seconds adrift of winner Dale Sturman.Third place went to Julian Long 12.51 and a further 5 seconds down was Richard Farrow with 12.56, and fourth place. Although not the best of road surfaces, the light wind meant that many riders once again claimed course bests, Matt Denny, James Asker, Darren Davis and Brian Aldis (again) all improved on the 5.50 mile Livermere circuit. Personal worst from Jim Greenwood who was last seen heading out towards Troston (sorry Jim). The under 18's were won by Thomas Mills who stopped the clock at 13 minutes and 42 seconds, closely followed by Lewis Elson with 13.52. Ross McKenzie filled the final podium place with a 14.21. In the battle of the Asker brothers Sam recorded a time of 16.08 to Matthews 16.14.
