Weekend triathlon resultsAt a wet and windy wattisham triathlon on Saturday 13th May saw three members flying the club colours. Matt Shingleton came 3rd overall, with Simon kitchin 169th and Steve Bull 182nd. also competing this weekend at the New Hall Kids Aquathon were the Adam trio of Stuart, Kathleen and Jennifer along with Niamh Perry. Stuart came 1st in the TRi Starter, Tri STar 1 saw Kathleen Adam come 25th and 8th in Age group in Tri star 2 Niamh came 13th and 4th in age group and Jennifer Adam came 33rd & 17th in age group. not to be forgotten a few weeks ago at the East coast Triathlon Jill Wilshaw finished 2nd in her age group and Dawn D'amarco 2nd in her age group. strong performances all around, look out for a bumper report next weekend when 17 of our juniors take part in the St Felix Tri and Southwold. Risby 8.5tt 9th May 2013Thirty one riders took part in the Risby 8.5mile time trial in very blustery conditions. It was tailwind from the Start near Risby towards Flempton, a cross wind up to Cavenham and the finish had dust blowing across the road from a nearby field. Finishing in third place was Darren Davis in 22.00, second place finisher was Richard Farrow in 21.28 and winning the event was Ben Mickleburgh (Velo Velocity.co.uk) recording 21.28. Higham 10mile TT 2nd May 2013This week had two events, An Under 18's time trial and an adults time. Five young riders took part in the Under 18's event and 40 in the adult event. Tom Mills won the Under 18's with a 30.39 and in the adult event Dale Sturman, back from Italy, recorded 24.24 to secure the win from Richard Farrow who finished in third place (25.43) behind Paul Rooke (25.11).
