2nd round of super sprint series saw a field of 36 compete over the 200 meter swim and 3k run. Pip more took the overall win with Tom Ames stow striders 2nd and Sean Lester 3rd. Top lady was Sharon Perry with Ester Colman 2nd and young Casey Maggs more than holding her own in 3rd. Great to see out Junior triathletes taking part with 8 entrys. Richard Farrow was once again the top finishing WSW & Tri rider in the club evening TT series event, held on the Higham 10 course. Probably the toughest course in the series, the hilly course suits Farrow's road racing background. The top three places all finished within one minute, with Ben Mickleburgh (Velovelocity.co.uk) setting the fastest time of the day (25:28), Farrow in second (25:50) and Julian Long (WSW & Tri) finishing third (26:09) The next event in the series is held on Thursday 6th June on the Lt. Sunday 26th May was the Elvedon Tear Jerker Triathlon which consists of a 750m reservoir swim, 25k off road bike & 5K run and is part of the Eastern League XC series. Tricia Goulden rode in the National 10mile tt championships on Saturday held at Hingham in Norfolk. Tricia did a 25.13 coming 26th out of 57in the women and winning her age category.
