Barbrooke takes 14th at European ChampionshipsAdi Barbrooke has been in action once again representing Great Britain, this time at the European Championships in Israel. The competition was held in Eilat, on the Red Sea, where temperatures are in the 30's at this time of year. Fortunately Barbrooke's wave set off at 7am when the temperature was a managable 20 degrees although by the time he finished it was just beginning to get uncomfortable.

Will Mapus-Smith is in his first full season of racing after a hard winter’s training and is already showing the sort of form that has been observed on club runs. Competing against a strong field of competitive Under 16’s at the Redbridge Hogg Hill Circuit Will came in a very creditable fifth, and is certainly making an impression. Watch out for his results as the season progresses. Last Updated (Sunday, 29 April 2012 19:05) |
