Members Performances: Winter Series Round 3 Brandon Fire Road 6, 29 January 2012Three members of the WSW & TC were in action at the Winter Series Round 3. The 7.5 mile course was dry and fast in some places, slow and sticky in others – in other words varied. It was bitterly cold morning – zero degrees as competitors lined up on the start line. Jeremy Waterson recorded his best result finishing 40th out of 135 riders in the 2 hour race completing 4 laps. Matthew Eaglen came in 79th in the same category but could have finished higher had he not started 10 minutes late due to driving back home to fetch forgotten SPD shoes! In the 40+ category, Paul Barry finished 78th from 138 riders. In the 4 hour event, second claim member, Richard Muchmore finished in an excellent 11th place. |
